Chase to open 90 branches in new markets


JPMorgan Chase & Co. has confirmed plans to expand its banking retail branches into nine U.S. markets.

The New York-based banking giant (NYSE: JPM) expects to open up to 90 new branches in new markets and hire up to 700 employees by the end of 2019.

The markets include Charlotte and Raleigh, North Carolina; Greenville, South Carolina; Kansas City; Minneapolis; Nashville, Tennessee; Pittsburgh; Providence, Rhode Island; and St. Louis.
