Cheers: Instacart expands alcohol delivery to Texas customers

Instacart customers in Texas as well as 13 other states and Washington, D.C., can now get door-to-door delivery of alcohol in as little as an hour.

The expanded alcohol delivery service follows a gradual rollout at a small number of stores last year and now includes nearly one-third of Instacart’s more than 300 retail partners. In November 2014, Instacart teamed up with Spec’s Wine, Spirits and Finer Foods to begin delivering alcohol in Houston and Austin.
