Chicago startup Altris AI raises $1 million to prevent blindness


Artificial intelligence diagnostics startup Altris AI announced a $1 million funding raise on Wednesday that the company will use to scale its AI-powered solution that helps detect eye disease.

The round was led by Runa Capital with participation from Joint Journey, Pharmaceutical Company Farman, Artesian, Brinc Limited, University of Chicago Booth School of Business and Chicago Booth Angels.
