Chick-Fil-A to compete with Kroger as it enters meal kit fray


Kroger Co. is getting a new competitor from an unlikely source.

Fast-food chicken restaurant Chick-Fil-A plans to test meal kits in Atlanta, where the chain is based, beginning next month.

Cincinnati-based Kroger (NYSE: KR), the nation’s largest operator of traditional supermarkets, has made big moves into the meal kit business over the past year.
