City Hall to small businesses: Take our money, please


If you're a small business, the city wants to contract with your type of company more regularly.

Austin is trying to boost the number of small businesses that respond when the city needs contractors. City Hall hopes more small businesses pursue and get awarded contracts under $50,000, particularly in fields such as electrical services, training, consulting, safety equipment, landscaping, plumbing, fleet management and technology.
