City of Houston OKs $1M for Texas Southern University’s Center of Transformative Health


The $1 million is intended to be seed money. Mayor Sylvester Turner said TSU President Lesia Crumpton-Young told him partnering with an entity like the city of Houston would be instrumental in attracting more grant funding and federal funding for the university.
