Cohen-Esrey LLC, an Overland Park-based real estate company, plans to move its headquarters down the road to Merriam.
The company, whose areas of service include real estate investment, development, acquisition and management, mostly in the affordable multifamily sector, bought the Merriam Oaks Building at 8500 Shawnee Mission Parkway. Cohen-Esrey will take possession before the end of the year and eventually plans to occupy 27,000 square feet of the 55,000-square-foot building.
