Columbus’ humming economy poised for growth, Federal Reserve predicts


All the economic numbers on Columbus are coming up rosy, according to the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland.

In a new economic analysis of the city, Fed researchers Mekael Teshome and Sarah Mattson found the region's economic prospects among the best in the Midwest, with population and job growth across a diverse array of industries putting Columbus in a position to continue growing at a pace that outpaces its peers.
