Company sues Stanford Health Care for masks it ordered in Covid’s early days


As health care systems tried to protect employees in the early days of Covid-19, demand (and costs) for masks surged. Now a Chicago supplier claims Stanford Health Care didn't accept 8 million masks the system ordered and demanded a refund for 7 million it received.
