Craft beer and wine store opens in Triad


Goofy Foot Taproom has opened at Heron Village in High Point, reports the News & Record.

Owner Jeff Thompson told the News & Record that the name comes from snowboarding and surfing, and refers to riding with one’s right foot forward, which is called “goofy-footed.”

According to Goofy Foot's Facebook page, the store has 16 taps featuring local, regional and national beers. They also have kombucha on tap, growlers and wine.
