Milwaukee issued a demolition permit for the former American Legion Hall in the Bay View neighborhood where a local developer plans a new apartment building.
Milwaukee officials on Friday approved demolition of the building at 2860 S. Kinnickinnic Ave., which dates to 1941. That building most recently housed Little DeMarinis Pizza. The Legion’s George Washington Bay View Post 180 that owns the property has been attempting to sell it.
