Developers announce community meeting for Franklin mixed-use development on 200-acre farm


The owners of a 200-acre farm, which their family has owned since 1887, intend to turn the property into a mixed-use development with a strong agricultural element. Rather than sell the property to developers, the Short family will stay involved in the project.
