Developer’s plan for 400 apartments runs into resistance in Delaware

A developer hopes to build 400 apartments in two complexes in Delaware, but city officials aren't so sure about the projects.

Delaware City Council heard plans from Metro Development to build two complexes: The 240-unit Seattle House Apartments on 24.2 acres along Rts. 36/37, south of Bowtown Road and across the street from the Glennwood Commons development, and the 160-unit Highpointe Place Apartments on 16.7 acres off of Botown Road, just west of the Village Gate Apartments.
