The host committee for the Democratic National Convention wants to partner with local businesses to ease the process as parties start seeking space for the 2020 event.
Alex Lasry, who chairs the bid committee, said the DNC will spark “controlled chaos." The four-day convention comes with hundreds of events, and the committee wants to smooth the experience. To that end, Lasry said, the host committee wants to centralize the operation.
