Downtown Minneapolis’ Century Plaza may turn into extended-stay hotel, police precinct

A local developer has plans to transform the vacant Century Plaza building in downtown Minneapolis into a 149-room hotel, aimed at longer-stays and supporting events at the nearby Minneapolis Convention Center.
