Duquesne University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine gets $2.2M in federal funding


The federal omnibus funding approved by Congress includes $2.2 million in funding for Duquesne University's College of Osteopathic Medicine.

The funding, part of the $1.7 trillion spending bill, was added by U.S. Rep. Mike Doyle, D-Pittsburgh, who is retiring at the end of the session. It will go in part to help pay for portable ultrasound handheld devices for the college's first students when the school opens in fall 2024.
