Dwyer Workforce Development partners with ACC to make nursing certification attainable for nontraditional students


A nonprofit that is establishing roots in Austin will support 100 nontraditional students in their journey to become certified nurses at no tuition cost through a new partnership with Austin Community College. Dwyer Workforce Development aims to help the state remedy a health care worker shortage in Texas while providing upward mobility for aspiring nurses.
