East Bay company Moximed seeks FDA approval for ‘shock absorber’ for the knee


The Fremont company's implant looks to relieve the knee of the painful pounding that osteoarthritis sufferers feel just while walking. It recently raised $40 million and hopes to get a decision from the FDA in the first half of next year.
