Effort to help military veterans start businesses snowballs


Veteran LLC, a collaborative aimed at helping military veterans start their own businesses, has expanded to include five members in new states.

The Wisconsin Women's Business Initiative Corporation in Wisconsin, Black Business Investment Fund in Florida, Access to Capital for Entrepreneurs in Georgia, Pathway Lending in Tennessee and Alabama, and Economic and Community Development Institute in Ohio will join the effort, according to a Dec. 19 announcement.
