Elizabeth Holmes returns to court in attempt to get her fraud conviction reversed


Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes returned the federal court in San Jose Thursday in an attempt to get her fraud conviction thrown out before she faces a sentencing date.

It didn't work.

In a kind of legal Hail Mary, lawyers for Holmes, who was convicted in January of defrauding her failed blood testing startup's investors, tried to get the judge in her case to overrule the jury's verdict, Bloomberg reported.
