Vic Vega Clothing, a local fashion startup, has committed to setting up its headquarters in Memphis and launching a second line later this year.
Victor Ivan Jimenez Vega, founder of the company, said that he has been tempted to move the company out to California to help grow his brand.
“I could have relocated and maybe the brand could have been a little bigger than it is now,” Vega said. “But it's about the grit and grind, it's about what makes it authentic. That's what makes it fun.”
