Exclusive: City, state Film Commissions recruit new feature film to Memphis


Even as new incentives were introduced this fall by the state to better lure TV series productions to Tennessee, it's the long-established incentives that have netted Memphis its next starring screen role.

The feature-length film "Uncorked" will begin to film locally Saturday, Nov. 10. Recruitment of the film has been underway since August by both the Memphis & Shelby County Film Commission and the Tennessee Entertainment Commission.
