Exclusive: Ginkgo CEO — Emeryville site could be synthetic biology incubator


Zymergen signed a 12-year lease for the biotech landmark site — once the headquarters of Chiron Corp. — and mostly completed renovations but never moved in before completing the company's sale this month to Ginkgo.
