Filings shed light on scope of State Street’s Austin layoffs


State filings provide a better idea of how many jobs State Street Corp. is cutting in Austin.

The financial services giant on Sept. 12 filed Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification documents with the Texas Workforce Commission indicating it planned 60 layoffs in Austin. The layoffs are expected Nov. 13 and will affect State Street's two offices in The Domain, according to the filings.
