First look: Emmanuel College opens new $140M dorm tower in the Fenway


Emmanuel College has opened its largest-ever building, an 18-story residence hall that’s meant to allow more students to live on the school’s Fenway campus while relieving pressure on the city’s workforce housing.

Earlier this month, the private Catholic liberal-arts college officially opened the 267,500-square-foot, 692-bed residence hall, which was built on the site of a former dormitory building that had housed about a third as many students.
