First residential Port of Everett project breaks ground


Two four-story residential buildings broke ground along Everett’s waterfront Monday, the first residential projects to begin construction for the 65-acre Waterfront Place Central Redevelopment.

The redevelopment of the Port of Everett, which will include five districts, up to 660 housing units, commercial and retail spaces, will support more than 2,000 jobs and $8.6 million in tax revenue, the port said.
