Flannery’s closing downtown Milwaukee restaurant after building sold


Downtown Milwaukee restaurant Flannery’s has set a closing date of Jan. 29.

The bar and restaurant near Cathedral Square Park is closing after more than 25 years in business, according to an announcement Flannery’s posted on social media. Owned by Steve Smith, the business at 425 E. Wells St. is vacating its space after the building was sold to a new owner.
