Forepaugh’s closes after death of young chef


Forepaugh's, the St. Paul restaurant located in an 1800s mansion, is closing for good.

The Pioneer Press reports on the move by Forepaugh's owner Taher Inc., which has run Forepaugh's as a fine-dining restaurant for more than a decade. The restaurant's history goes back to 1976, when it opened in a historic mansion near Irvine Park, naming itself after the original owner of the home.
