Former Arizona billionaire found guilty in opioid bribery case


John Kapoor, once a high-rolling Arizona billionaire and founder of Chandler drugmaker Insys Therapeutics Inc., was found guilty Thursday of racketeering after a lengthy trial, according to reports.

Kapoor, along with three former Insys (NYSE: INSY) managers — Michael Gurry, Richard Simon and Sunrise Lee — were convicted by a jury in Boston that took more than three weeks to reach a verdict.
