Former Foot Locker building in downtown Chicago slated for demolition


The federal government will pay $3.2 million to Chicago-based Berglund Construction Co. to demolish a vacant downtown building previously occupied by Foot Locker.

Demolition on the 11,000-square-foot building, located at 208-212 S. State St., is slated to begin this month and wrap up four to six weeks later.
