Former MillerCoors exec sentenced to prison in $8.6 million fraud scheme


Former MillerCoors executive David Colletti was sentenced Thursday to 42 months in federal prison for leading a scheme to defraud the Chicago-based brewer out of nearly $8.7 million for more than a decade.

Colletti, 60, pleaded guilty to wire fraud in 2016, but U.S. District Judge Jorge Alonso delayed his sentencing until prosecutors could pursue cases against seven others who also were charged in the scheme, reported The Associated Press.
