Franklin rejects Strauss Brands request to drop tax commitments under HQ agreement

Franklin officials rejected Strauss Brands LLC’s request this month to be forgiven for about $460,000 in property tax payments on a 30-acre property where the company cancelled plans to build a large meat processing plant.
