From golden arches to brass coins, McDonald’s unveils ‘currency’


McDonald's is pulling a Willy Wonka of sorts.

Instead of giving out golden tickets, though, the fast-food giant is handing out brass-colored coins.

The move is meant to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Big Mac, the company's signature sandwich that was created in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, by Jim Delligatti.
