From the Editor: Silence in the doctor’s office


As the opioid addiction crisis continues to take its toll, nationally and in Tennessee, we’ve heard from law enforcement officers, politicians and grieving parents. You might think anyone getting prescribed painkillers these days would get similarly stark warnings from their medical providers — but, at least in my experience, that’s not been the case.
