General Contractors Association of Hawaii names new executive vice president


Cheryl Walthall has been named executive vice president of the General Contractors Association of Hawaii to succeed the state’s largest construction organization’s longtime head, Johnny Higa, who retired earlier this year.

Walthall, who starts her new role on Sept. 3, was most recently with the Pacific Resource Partnership, a consortium of the Hawaii Regional Council of Carpenters and the state’s unionized general contractors.
