It isn’t quite the final product, but C. Kreuger’s Finest Baked Goods is open for business.
The Short North cookie and sweets shop marked its first day Monday, with its first customer arriving at the 17 E. Brickel St. shop right at the 7 a.m. opening.
“We’re about 95 percent there,” is how founder Cheryl Krueger described it this morning.
Krueger is no stranger to the cookie business, having co-founded Cheryl & Co. in 1981 and growing it to a national presence before selling it in 2005.…
