There appears to be a turf war brewing between a couple of local gourmet markets in Atlanta’s Morningside neighborhood.
Alon’s Bakery & Market is a longtime Morningside staple. Savi Provisions wants to move into the neighborhood — right next door.
Savi plans to open a location at 1370 North Highland Ave., according to a building permit application submitted to the city of Atlanta. It would take over a former Coldwell Banker Realty office, and there's already a "coming soon" sign out front.
