Graco Inc. and the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board announced Friday an agreement to develop a park at the former Scherer Bros. Lumber Co. site, an 11-acre parcel north of the Plymouth Avenue Bridge along the Mississippi's east bank in northeast Minneapolis.
The agreement is expected to end a years-long legal bout between Graco (NYSE: GGG), a Minneapolis-based manufacturer of fluid handling equipment, and the city over the land near Graco's headquarters.
