Hawaii’s 10th Wendy’s restaurant planned for Windward Oahu site

Hawaii’s 10th Wendy’s restaurant will open next year in Kailua, on a site leased from Alexander & Baldwin that was once a Tesoro gas station.

Cotti Foods Inc., the franchisee for Wendy’s (Nasdaq: WEN) and Pieology in Hawaii, recently inked a deal for the half-acre parcel at 1143 Kailua Road, next door to Koolau Farmers garden center and across from the YMCA of Honolulu’s Windward Branch. The site is also less than a half mile from Kailua High School.
