Health Care Hero: Karen Muller aims to brighten day for sick children at Dayton Children’s

In 2021, Dayton Children's Hospital welcomed two new furry, four-legged friends – golden retrievers, Millie, and Peppermint – through their brand-new program, canine co-pilots. Under the leadership of Karen Muller, child life manager, the child life team has continued to grow and adapt to meet the needs of Dayton Children’s patients. The canine co-pilot program is just one of the many services Muller had provided to support kids receiving care at Dayton Children's.
