Here comes the bride … to Schimschack’s


It has been three years since Schimschack’s served its last meal, but the Niagara County eatery will be making a comeback.

But it won't be as a restaurant. Instead it will open as a wedding venue though other special events may also be booked there.

That’s the game plan from the husband/wife team of Michael and Janeanne Kelly, who bought the restaurant at auction last fall, paying just $130,000 for the 4,000-square-foot Pekin building that offers a picturesque view of the Niagara Escarpment.
