Here’s when Metro Diner opens in South Tampa


Metro Diner, the Tampa-based restaurant chain best known for its platters of Middle American comfort food, is opening its first location in its home base.

The South Tampa location occupies 3,705 square feet in a redeveloped strip center at 4011 W. Kennedy Blvd. It will open May 29, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, with seating for 124. More than 100 jobs will be created at the new location.
