Hoover commission recommends new strip retail center for U.S. 31


Hoover may add a new retail center along a busy highway.

The city’s planning and zoning commission recommends the city council approve plans for a 15,000-square-foot strip retail center on U.S. 31, reports the Hoover Sun.

The new development would be located at 1539 and 1541 Montgomery Hwy., where Mexico Lindo restaurant and Mr. Transmission were previously located before being torn down.
