Hospital adding ortho services in rural Corfu

United Memorial Medical Center is continuing its expansion into rural communities with new orthopedic services in Corfu.

The 131-bed hospital in Batavia, part of the Rochester Regional Health system, will add two exam rooms at an existing facility on Main Road by renovating a vacant radiology space.

The project will allow physicians to transition between four exam rooms, up from the existing two and allows for better patient flow. The $100,000 project also updates support space.
