Houston restaurant group’s proposed Montrose hotel gets city approval


A nine-room boutique hotel planned near the corner of Westheimer and Dunlavy in Montrose received city approval May 9 to move forward.

The city of Houston planning commission approved a variance to build the hotel within a residential area at 2509 Dunlavy St. The commission initially deferred the request for two weeks at its April 26 meeting.
