With 150 to 175 new homes being built a year in Huber Heights, City Manager Rob Schommer says he’s confident in the strength of the local housing market.
The largest of these developments has been Carriage Trails, a long-term, large-scale housing project akin to the continually-growing Settler’s Walk in Springboro. New add-on phases are incrementally growing it by another hundred or so houses a year.
But what excites Schommer, he says, is the variety of projects elsewhere in town.
