Huntington increases Columbus market dominance as newcomer Bank of America slips, FDIC data show


Overall consumer bank deposits grew to $100.5 billion at 54 institutions in metro Columbus, breaking last year's record of $98.1 billion, according to FDIC, even though the number of branches shrank to 480 from 502.
