ICE announces COO to be first woman president of NYSE


Intercontinental Exchange Inc. has announced that NYSE Group Chief Operating Officer Stacey Cunningham will become the 67th president of the New York Stock Exchange.

Cunningham is the first woman to head the exchange in its 226-year history, ICE told the Wall Street Journal.

Cunningham succeeds Thomas Farley, who has served as NYSE president since 2014, according to the May 22 announcement by Atlanta-based Intercontinental Exchange Inc. (NYSE: ICE.)
