Impossible Foods launches into retail with first grocery store rollout


After years of keeping its plant-based products out of the mainstream consumer's hands, Impossible Foods is finally ready to trust grocery shoppers to cook it properly on their own.

Starting today, the Redwood City-based food tech company officially launches into retail with its debut at nearly 30 Gelson's grocery stores throughout Southern California. Packages of Impossible Burger "meat" will be sold in 12-ounce portions alongside traditional ground beef from cows.
