Intel celebrates groundbreaking at $20 billion New Albany semiconductor complex


A who's-who of Intel executives and state and local officials gathered in New Albany Friday to celebrate the ceremonial groundbreaking of Intel's $20 billion campus — even as construction workers turned dirt behind them, reflecting the scale of ongoing work needed to get the facilities up and running by 2025.
